We are excited to feature Theresa Simpson as this month’s Employee Spotlight. Theresa has been with Village Automotive Group for 23 years! She has held a variety of positions and has grown over the years within the company.

Theresa started working at the Mitsubishi dealership, a store that used to be owned by Village Automotive Group. She was a Receptionist, and then moved to Accounts Payable and processed car deals until she was promoted to her current position as Payroll Administrator. Theresa now administers payroll for Lexus of Wayzata, Lexus of Maplewood, and the Auto Center Bargain Lot. Theresa said the favorite aspects of her position are, " the variety of work, getting to do something different every day, and also the people she really enjoys working with."

Before starting at Mitsubishi, Theresa had experience at an accounting firm and worked as a waitress. She grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota and still resides there today. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her four grandchildren by taking them to the park or playing games and baking with them.

Theresa and her husband enjoy taking a vacation once a year. Las Vegas is usually their destination spot, however, she hopes to go to Hawaii one day. Theresa plans on retiring in the South, most likely Arizona because of the warm weather and no winters!
