Loyal Lexus customers, may I present to you, our new section in the Lexus of Maplewood monthly newsletter, “Employee(s) of the Month”! In these articles, we will be sharing our employee’s experiences, occupation, and what they do for Lexus. To start off, we have Derek and his apprentice, Randy. Derek and Randy are detailers from the service department with about 10 plus years of experience combined. Both team members have a passion for their jobs commenting that detailing is a good trade to know. To the surprise of many, this focused team has no limits when it comes to vehicle makeovers. Their skills and abilities have allowed them to overhaul hundreds of cars including Bentley, Cadillac, Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, Maserati, Aston Martin, BMW, and even Harley Davidson.
Though every role at Lexus of Maplewood is vital, these two individuals provide a special light to the customer satisfaction experience. Derek is responsible for managing the 3M Paint Protection Film craze, which provides Lexus with a new standard of innovation. The new age film is applied to bumpers, mirrors, door edges, hoods, and fenders to protect from rock chips, minor scuffs, and scrapes. It provides our customers with a greater sense of durability and pride in ownership. The idea has caught on quickly and has become the norm for service customers, new and pre-owned car deliveries, and every courtesy car at our store.
However, do not be fooled! These product specialists do not just wash and vacuum your car, but they also apply body side moldings, gold packages, headlight restorations, and pin striping. If you ever need any detailing on your vehicle, Derek and Randy will do their best to give you an excellent looking car. Keep up the good work!
