Read up on how NASCAR was introduced to the LFA

Hello, NASCAR-meet the LFA

8/05/2011—We’ll say it again: Buying a Lexus supercar isn’t like other car-shopping experiences. The process may involve a party. It may involve a day of pro-driver training at a world-class racetrack.

Or it may even involve some screaming-fast test-drives with NASCAR champ Kyle Busch, who last Wednesday took a few interested LFA shoppers for some hot laps around New Jersey Motorsports Park:

Kyle Busch

Talk about an ideal way to get a feel for a supercar—take it out with a guy who knows a thing or two about moving fast. At age 26, Busch is on his way to legendary status. Not only does he own the record for most NASCAR wins in a single season (24), he’s the only NASCAR Nationwide Series driver in history to lead more than 10,000 laps.

No word yet on whether the Busch-style-speed experience sealed the deal for any of those potential LFA buyers.

But one thing’s for certain: we’re sold, and we just watched the action from the pits.
